We’ve all heard that “God helps those who help themselves.” But who, you may ask, helps the helpers?
Coaching can be especially useful to people working to support others—professionally or personally. This works in two ways: Tony can either counsel and support the helper, or work with the client (helpee) around the issues interfering with the helper’s efforts.
To help the caregiver achieve his or her goals, Tony reviews and improves strategies or offers advice—all with a fresh perspective. His objectivity and professional context can be extremely effective, especially in the absence of a mentor, colleague, reliable associate, or non-threatening superior. Here, Tony serves as the helper’s trusted advisor.
Tony can also work directly with the client around challenges standing in the way of the helper’s efforts. In such a case, the caregiver refers Tony, and everyone works together to establish parameters to improve the situation.

Caregivers can be professional or personal, needing small improvements or critical transitions. Here are just a few examples of helper roles:

Unlike psychology, which tackles deep-seated or neurotic conditions, Tony’s practice focuses on developing an honest view of where you are and how you can get where you want to be. Because change doesn’t happen overnight, engagements usually range from three to six months. You’ll learn a new set of skills. Once you have a firm grip on how to use them, you can apply them across the board in your day-to-day life.
