Parenting Coordination

Resolve disagreements - in the children’s best interests - without escalation or violence.

As a parent, you always want what’s best for your children. Unfortunately, improperly handled family conflicts or divorce can lead to increased stress, turmoil, and confusion for young minds, as well as long-term health and development consequences, commonly referred to as ACES. My Parenting Coordination services put your children first by helping you remedy unsettled disagreements in a private, neutral environment.

My underlying goal is to help you:

Reach Mutual Agreements without Negative Sentiments

Put Your Children Before Your Own Interests

Outward conflict can lead to home-life inconsistencies, high levels of stress, and harmful loyalty binds for children. My Parenting Coordination services are designed to protect your children from being exposed to and falling victim to their parents’ unsettled disputes. By teaching parents how to communicate and work together, my services lead to greater stability, self-esteem, and overall happiness for children.
Of note, when parents are unable or unwilling to agree, the decisions I make as a Parenting Coordinator are legally binding and can only be altered by a court order. When conflicts do arise, I am always here to help. Throughout the process, we can reach common ground before your choices negatively affect your children. Interparental conflict should never come between you and your children.

Tony, over the past two years as our PC you've been more than professional. You've been a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to give a recommendation for others who require similar services. Thank you for your assistance as we moved to this new stage in our lives. Based on our past two years of interactions we have learned how to better co-parent our child. You present ways for those in conflict to see things from the outside perspective, thinking beyond the issue at hand, and looking forward toward the larger objective of a healthy parent / child relationship and successful long term development. I am thankful that we have been able to internalize that lessons you taught us after some practice. I wish you continued success with your important work.
A Grateful Dad

Assigning blame is not part of my process. Instead, I focus on asking the key questions, such as:

  • What does this co-parenting partnership need to survive, or better yet to flourish??
  • What needs to change to achieve the desired outcome?
  • What are you willing to commit to?
  • What are the next steps moving forward?

Whether you are concerned that your current relationship could be negatively impacting your children or would like to resolve parental conflicts more effectively before or after divorce, I invite you to reach out to me today. Let’s make progress for the benefit of your children, together.

And here’s how to do that.

Because I serve as a neutral acting in your children’s best interests, it is critical that both parents and I build upon a solid foundation. I’ve found the best way for us to do this is to start with a ‘chemistry session.’ Here the three of us will meet virtually to discuss your goals and how parenting coordination might work to help you both achieve them. This no cost, no obligation chemistry session is a 30 – 45 minute opportunity for us to get to know a bit about each other, and for me to outline the process, and for each of us to assess if working with me is the right solution.

So, if you and/or your co-parent are interested in learning more about parenting coordination and/or working with me, this is a great opportunity.
